The Mordaunt-Short Carnival 8 is a powerful floorstander that handles a massive 150 watts thanks to its two substantial 6.5” woven composite cone drivers. At high frequencies, these smart Carnival 8s provide incredible detail while maintaining an impressive level of refinement.

Developed as a dedicated center speaker, the Mordaunt-Short Carnival 5 is designed for best dialogue dispersion. Ideal for entry-level 5.1 or 6.1 home theater set-ups, the Carnival 5 is magnetically shielded for interference free placement directly on top of or close to TVs.

The Mordaunt-Short Carnival 3 is a dedicated effects speaker designed for the most demanding home theater set-up, the Carnival 3 features two drive units mounted in the opposing faces of the dipole enabling a full surround sound effect. At the same time left and right channel separation is maintained.

The Mordaunt-Short Carnival 9 is the premium subwoofer of the range and adds astounding low-end grunt. The Carnival 9's powerful 100 watt amplifier manages low frequency requirements in the most demanding home theatre.

Carnival is Mordaunt-Short’s entry-level home cinema and stereo loudspeaker range offering excellent performance across the frequency spectrum. Carnival models are ideal for stereo or home theater set-ups and are incredibly easy to mix and match.

Like all Mordaunt-Short products, Carnival is developed in the UK by the company’s London-based dedicated research and development team and benefits from Mordaunt-Short’s trademark engineering talents. The sleek cabinets house high performance woven composite cone mid-bass drivers plus an elegant elliptical tweeter design. Polypropylene capacitors give a clearer signal and improved resolution, while low saturation inductors mean reduced distortion and better dynamics. Carnival also features an array of custom-designed components and like all Mordaunt-Short products, all models are structurally braced for excellent rigidity.
